Pain Care Yoga Workshop

In this 2-hour workshop, we will explore how pain actually works and move through a gentle yoga practice designed to bring relief and relaxation. This is a great place to start if you’re curious about whether or not yoga can help you bring more ease into your life. Please fill out the intake form before the class.

Pain Care Yoga Introductory Series

This is a 6-week long series designed to help you decrease your pain and improve the quality of your life through gentle yoga. The series will explore the view of chronic pain through the lens of modern science, and you will learn and practice safe and effective yoga techniques to calm your nervous system. With these tools, you will be equipped and empowered to create lasting change in your body and in your life. Each 75-minute session will consist of a short educational piece and time for discussion, and then a yoga practice. Please fill out the intake form before the first class. This course is a pre-requisite to participate in the Ongoing Pain Care Yoga Classes.

Location: Gregory Gym, The University of Texas (Requires a UT Rec Sports membership)

 

Ongoing Pain Care Yoga Classes

The Ongoing Pain Care Yoga Classes are for clients who have completed the Pain Care Yoga Introductory Series who want to attend a regular yoga class. These 60-minute small group classes are taught in the same style as the Introductory Series and are the perfect way to continue the exploration and growth of ease in movement begun in the Introductory Series. Ongoing classes require at 12-week commitment. Class dates and times will be made available upon completion of the Introductory Series.

 

Missed Classes

Missed classes can only be made up if there is an opening in another class at a different time; otherwise, the class is forfeited. Contact me to inquire about openings.
